Aromatherapy Footbath with Essential Oils

The feet suffer more stresses than almost any other part of the body. They have to carry all that weight throughout the day and then maybe dance all night. The best reward you can give them is a soothing foot soak. It warms and relaxes all the tiny support muscles, releases trapped nerves, improves the blood circulation and soothes aches and pains.

The right essential oil will make it even more pleasurable. And since you have to sit while you soak, you get to inhale the aroma molecules and enjoy a moment of stillness in a busy day. All you need is a large basin or square bucket, hot water, a Warm towel, a comfortable seat at the most relaxing height and the right essential oils. Just add them, drop by drop, to the water before you slip your feet in. You need up to eight drops per nine litres (two gallons) of water.
